Chocolate Puma is BACK with a vengeance! The soon to be released track “For Your Love” was originally a song by ’60s outfit The Yardbirds, which was then covered by German disco band Chilly in the late ’70s. The Chilly version was clearly the starting point for Chocolate Puma who have once again enlisted Colonel Red on the vocals (Check out their previous collaboration HERE). Take a listen and as always comments are appreciated.
Once and awhile you get one, an earworm. A song or sound that just seems stuck in your subconscious. You hear said song everywhere, often at the most random moments. Today’s Song of the Day is my earworm and I have been very hard pressed to get this song out of my head. It’s the delicate and throbbing “Song for Lisa” by North Ireland electronic group, The Japanese Popstars. This particular version was remixed by Italian DJ and producer Benny Bennasi and released back in February. The tracks delicate vocals matched with Benassi’s trademark 4/4 thump really transform this tune into something very special. As always though don’t take my word for it, take a listen.
