Folks I can’t tell you how hot of a track this is! It combines two amazing acts into one Massive Attack and Bassnectar. The song being reinvigorated is “Risingson” from the classic Massive attack album “Mezzanine” . I have covered Bassnector’s genius on the blog before but this song in particular deserved mention. Every once and a while the little guy comes up with a big win. It happens in sports all the time so why not music? Well a few months back that’s exactly what happened when Mexico City DJ Producer Keemerah became one ofthe winners of the Beatport and Tiësto remix contest. The remix was for Tiësto’s “Knock You Out” which featured vocals from Emily Gaines. Since winning the contest Keemerah has released a slew of remixes and is soon to release a solo EP.
